This luxurious ski lodge on beautiful Donner Lake can be your home on numerous winter wonderland weekends from January thru April. Don't miss out!
The Cabin
Just wait until you see this place - it's the perfect High Sierra retreat! Lake views from all of its three floors, a six person (or more!) hot tub, big screen TV with
surround sound, pool table, two decks – what more could you ask for in a ski cabin? And all just minutes from Sugar Bowl, Squaw, Alpine and more! It’s a
beautifully redesigned water tower home with five bedrooms plus an additional loft with enough beds to accommodate up to 14 people. There are also three
bathrooms, two living rooms with wood burning stoves, two complete kitchens and a washer dryer.
The cabin is located on the south shore of Donner Lake, very close to Truckee – just a three hour drive from San Francisco. It's also just a short walk to Donner
State Park where we can hop on our snow shoes, cross country skis or sleds. Into backcountry skiing? Just walk out our backdoor to
find pristine powder slopes and miles of cross country terrain. It’s pretty much a backcountry ski-in ski-out.
Weekend Activities
The cabin will be open two weekends per month from the beginning of January through April. Great, home-cooked meals - breakfast
and dinner on Saturday and breakfast on Sunday - will be included every weekend. We tend to head out to the slopes together so you will certainly
find a good ski buddy or two...or three... Some weekends will also feature special organized outings such as cross country skiing,
full moon snow shoeing, dog sledding, snowmobiling, ice skating and more! Keep your eye on the calendar for these special events! Or, if you feel like just
relaxing the weekend away at the cabin, feel free to hang out by the fire or in the hot tub!
The Community
We're expecting a great crowd at the cabin this winter! Lots of people who are interested in meeting fun new people, getting outside and taking advantage of
everything Tahoe has to offer. We do expect to have large groups every weekend and will try to accommodate everyone's bedding requests, however, people
should plan on sharing rooms. We will try to maintain same-sex rooms...unless otherwise requested. Bed space will be first come, first served. In the evenings, we will
provide a nice group dinner for everyone and maybe share a few bottles of wine around the cabin. After that, some may opt to head out to the bars or casinos, while others may choose
to relax in the cabin and soak in the hot tub, play some pool or pick a movie for the big screen TV from our extensive movie library. Please be aware that
accommodations will be dormitory style including bunk beds.
Weekend Prices
Ski weekends will be posted on the calendar page of our website at least two months in advance. Keep an eye on the calendar and make sure to sign up early.
We expect most weekends to sell out well in advance, so don't miss out!
Platinum Members: $120-$160/weekend*
Gold Members: $145-$185/weekend*
Guests: $185-$225/weekend*

Cancellation Policy
If you need to cancel two or more weeks prior to the scheduled event, there is no penalty. Within two weeks of the planned trip there will be no refund unless
we are able to replace you. If we are able to fill your spot we will refund you less a $25 cancellation fee. The sooner you let us know, the more likely it is that we
will be able to fill your space.
