Events
We offer three distinction lines of events to suit your every need. Our Team-Building Line focuses on important business skills development while still remembering the fun. Our Pure-Adventure Line includes events that will simply provide you and your co-workers an exciting day out together (a little employee morale can go a long way back in the office!). And finally, our Entertainment Line is purely for those relaxed occasions where your group will have the opportunity to relax together – whether that be spouses mingling during a conference that’s in town or co-workers celebrating that big deal that was just closed.

Of course there are a number of events that fall under more than one category – the distinctions are simply there to help you to navigate your way through the long list. And don’t forget that if you don’t see an event listed that you’d like to try, chances are, we’ve done it before and could easily plan it. Just give us a call and ask!

Carissa Zenorini, CEO

Carissa brings a professional energy and enthusiasm to Absolute Adventures which is simply contagious.

Her interest in human performance dynamics developed through her experience as a high level athlete Stanford University. Carissa was a member of three NCAA National Champion Swimming/Diving Teams and was individually the Spring Board National Champion. This earned her a spot on the United States National Diving Team which competed in numerous international events including the World Cup and the World Championships. She traveled far and wide and developed a passion for studying the way people perform...in athletics, in the work place, and in life.

Lead by this passion, Carissa focused her studies and graduated from Stanford University with with a Bachelors of Arts in Communications and a Masters of Arts in Sports Psychology.

She tried her hand at photo journalism, at television production with CBS Sports and at athletic coaching. Eventually she decided to get in on the dot com craze and gained valuable experience working at iChange, a psychology-based corporate e-learning software company, where she worked in Product Development.

Following the dot com bust, Carissa decided to head out on her own and follow her true passions - working with people in person and helping them achieve their goals. Armed with a great deal of experience, she found Absolute Adventures along with her long time friend, Tai Kuncio. They both share a love of adventure, and together they strive to bring element of excitement to the work place and help companies build stronger teams.

Come on out and join Carissa on a Team-Building Adventure. You and your co-workers are sure to have a fun AND productive day!

Tai Kuncio, CEO

Travel and adventure have always been integral parts of Tai’s active life. As a student at Stanford, not only was she a member of a National Championship Cross Country Team but was also on the university's cycling and water skiing teams. Spending her third year abroad in Australia, she finally got her first taste of exploring far away countries solo.

Taking a year and a half off to travel, Tai started her journey in Tibet and Nepal, trekking through the Himalayas for 3 months. Southeast Asia was next on her agenda and after getting used to the abrupt change in climate, Tai was soon exploring the remote hill tribe villages, caves and secluded monasteries of Laos and Thailand. In Borneo, she got to see some incredible wildlife on land as well as in the sea, scuba diving off Sipidan Island. With the courage to venture into more remote areas now, she soon found herself deep in the towering Andes and it was in Bolivia that she finally climbed to a height of 20,000 feet, definitely one of the most exhilarating experiences of her life.

But the culture shock upon her return to the states was one of her biggest challenges. Having experienced so many adventures in such a short time, there was no way she was going to seek a routine desk job. That's where Absolute Adventures came in. Although Tai has been around the globe, she now realizes that the Bay Area offers some of the most the world’s most beautiful and accessible natural environments. Having settled here, she can now put all of her experiences and “adventure expertise” to good use.

She’s kayaked with Yahoo! across the Bay, raced yachts with Genentech and go-karts with Google… and now she’s waiting to bring some local adventure to your team! Silicon Valley is home to thousands of successful companies. Their success depends on their hard-working and committed employees, many of whom (sadly enough!) have never really experienced the Bay Area outside of their offices. Let Tai, and the rest of the Absolute Adventures staff, show you your very own backyard like you’ve never seen it before and you’ll be sure to return to the office refreshed and re-energized. You’ll probably learn a few things about your team along the way too!

Nikolai Lotkeff

A native of Sacramento, Nikolai came to the Bay Area to get a degree in Graphic Design, and never looked back. He found success both working as a creative, and as an actor on many a Bay Area stage, but still felt that there was a better way to bring his love of teaching together with his primary strengths; creativity and working with people.

He began working as a corporate team building facilitator in the 90's, and eventually crossed paths with Absolute Adventures. It seemed like a perfect fit. You will most often meet him at one of Absolute Adventures' corporate events like GeoTeaming or Treasure Hunting. He has a natural ability to make people feel comfortable and have fun...all while learning! Nikolai is especially excited about his newest venture, as the developer of Absolute Adventures' first treasure hunt, The Enigmakoff Codes.
